Kalahari Runway

Soil & Dust Solutions with its local construction partner Shuma Construction constructed a runway for Wilderness Safaris in Central Kalahari, Botswana  -- Kalahari Plains.  From initial land clearing, to site preparation, base layer construction and stabilization, and final surface seal using EBS (Emulsified Base Stabilizer).

The sensitive environment required a solution which was both environmentally compliant and sustainable in terms of maintenance and cost, AND which would stabilize the sandy silty soil.  Soil & Dust Solutions provided the answer with our highly effective EBS application method and using the right equipment.
